Spring 2009 Couture
The simple square started as the base from which the collection emerged. Tiles of leather serve as embellishment on certain pieces. Laces served as foil to play hide-and-seek with patent leather strips forming square shapes and linear strips then emerged. Thank you, Euclid! Moved along and starting take squares of fabric and manipulated them into studies of asymmetry to counter balance the rigidity of the simple square.
